We’re currently traversing North America on our honeymoon with our Airstream travel trailer and cat in tow. These are our stories from the road.

Honeymoon Stop #39

We're headed to Greg's sister's place on Friday. Then, home.

Ring Ring

You can stop holding your breath; we both (almost) have our wedding bands! Yes, we still need our marriage license, but rings are so much more visible!

During a jaunt with Stew and Cindy to Vero Beach, Florida I stumbled upon the work of a self-taught jeweler while perusing the wares at the Laughing Dog Gallery. Todd Reed’s work, mostly employing raw diamonds and precious metals, caught my eye and I remembered his name when it was time to choose a token to exchange with Greg on our big day.

After searching extensively online to create a padded pool of amazing jewelry artists from which to choose, Greg and I both favored Todd Reed’s work. Weeks later (and after what seemed like a gazillion emails and telephone calls to Lisa at Langman Gallery in Willow Grove) the gorgeous ring we requested from Todd’s Colorado studio arrived! We are both totally in love with it.

I, on the other ring finger, have chosen a ring from an artist I found on Etsy! I am so excited to purchase a piece of art that is not only meaningful and representative of an everlasting love, but that is also made with love, heart and soul by a working artist (esdesigns) promoting her own jewelry (in a forum I support 100%).  If you haven’t browsed for gifts on Etsy, you may want to abandon the remainder of this post and GO CHECK IT OUT RIGHT NOW!
